Midax, Inc. Receives ACH Certification
Status is unique amongst retail technology companies
July 1, 2012 Virginia Beach, VA – Midax, Inc. today announced that the lengthy process of seeking ACH certification has come to a successful conclusion for the company. ACH certification is typically sought by financial institutions, so Midax believes they are the only retail technology company that has achieved the coveted status.
ACH is an acronym for automated clearing house. ACH has recently come in to the mainstream as a viable method of payment as a result of consumer adoption of electronic bill pay and familiarity with solutions such as PayPalTM that utilize ACH. Midax is now able to provide ACH as an alternative payment methodology for Merchants and Consumers that bypasses the high transaction fees associated with credit and debit card transactions.
Jim Nevill, President stated: “Midax is a pioneer in EFT processing with activity that dates back more than a decade. Now that we are authorized to be an ACH acquirer, we have eliminated the middle man from the equation. As a result, Midax is now able to offer the lowest ACH transaction fees available anywhere to our existing and prospective customers.”
Midax ACH is available in turnkey or OEM models with multiple usage cases that complement the company’s loyalty and payment solutions. A popular usage of the technology is to reload loyal customers’ stored value cards.
